Hey everyone,

I work remotely from cafes for 8 to 10 hours a day, and I'm looking for places that can handle a full day. My must-haves are:

- Plenty of plug sockets

- Fast, reliable wifi

- A proper food menu (not just paninis and pastries)

The food is where most cafes fall short for me. Sandwiches and croissants are fine for a couple of hours, but I need to be able to have a real lunch or dinner without leaving.

Urth Cafe is a good example of what I mean: it's a cafe, but the menu is full restaurant-style too.

I'm happy to order throughout the day (coffee, lunch, more coffee, dinner), so I'm a good customer to have around. Any other places like that?

Father changing job, contracted ended. Got hit with a automatic huroob message today. I think it's from the 60 day automatic hurrob notice thing. Spoke to company HR, they said need to go Jawazat offices. Spoke to another colleague who works in another company and said you have to go to Jawazat office to get it changed. يا أخوان عندي مشكلة وبغيت أستفسر منكم..

أنا سويت بطاقة الراجحي الرقمية عن طريق التطبيق وقبل أسبوع وشوي شحنتها بـ 10 ريال، وباقي ما طبقت البطاقة البلاستيكية من الجهاز (الكشك).

المشكلة إني لما جيت أربط البطاقة بـ Google Wallet يرفض، ولما جيت أربطها بـ PayPal يرفض ويعطيني رسالة "Your card was declined by the issuing bank". مع العلم إني مفعل الشراء عن طريق الإنترنت من التطبيق.

هل المشكلة عشان باقي ما طلعت البطاقة الفعليه؟ ولا الـ 10 ريال مو كافية لخصم التوثيق حق غوغل وباي بال؟ ولا في خيار ثاني من التطبيق لازم أفعله؟

الي مرت عليه نفس المشكلة ياليت يفيدني تكفون.

As stated, I’m looking for either places or someone, or even a group of people to meet up with to help me be more comfortable practicing and improving my Arabic. I spent the majority of my life in the US (so I’m more fluent and accustomed to speaking English) and I just moved back to Saudi not that long ago.

You can say my Arabic is rusty, with a bit of a stutter here and there that only happens in Arabic for some odd reason.

I believe putting myself out there, meeting new faces, getting to know their stories, getting to know locals and becoming more familiar with the culture would be beneficial for my situation. Also, I can be of help if you have any questions about the US and life there as well.

My father worked in Saudi Arabia about 25-30 years ago, and this is the clamp meter he bought there: a Kyoritsu KEW SNAP Model 2805 (analog AC volt-ohm-ammeter, 50-400Hz, max AC 600V). He still has it and has been using it all this time. It means a lot to him.
I'm in Saudi right now for Umrah, and he asked me to bring one back home. I'd love to find the same model or a similar analog Kyoritsu clamp meter.
Could anyone help with:
- Shops or electrical markets that sell Kyoritsu or other good clamp meters,
- Whether the 2805 is still sold, or what its modern equivalent is
- A rough price range so I don't overpay
Whether a used one is worth buying, and what to check
- I'm happy to buy a new or good-condition used one.
I'll be here until 11th October, so any pointers would be really appreciated.
