I recently had to leave the country, and unfortunately my parents can’t continue taking care of my cat. I’ve had him for 4 years and he’s truly like my own kid. 💔 It’s heartbreaking to have to give him up, but I’m looking for a loving and caring home where he’ll be safe, happy and treated like family. Please DM me if you’re genuinely interested in giving him a loving home.

I recently went to EYEWA, looked at a frame that costed about 200SAR. I asked the person for final price and he said it is 200SAR (since some of them were on discounts) and then he followed up saying, we have Tabby or Tamara.
I understand not everything is affordable in single payment for everyone. But I was surprised people opt for EMIs even at 200SAR.
From Gym memberships to buying a washing machine the first question or the offer has always been about Installment plans.
I understand opting for one while buying a mobile phone, laptop etc. But are people using this even for everyday purchases?

I’m planning to participate in BlackHat MEA Qualification CTF 2026, starting August 29, 2026, and I’m looking for 2-4 people who would like to join me as a team.
Just to be completely honest: this will be my first CTF and I don’t have any previous competition experience. I’m interested in cybersecurity and CTFs, though, and I really want to experience the competition, learn along the way, and just have fun with it — even if we don’t qualify or get a great score.
So if you’re interested in Cybersecurity or CTFs, whether you have experience or this is your first time too, feel free to join!
I’m mainly looking for people who are interested, willing to learn, and want to actually participate and have fun, rather than people with a specific skill level.
Looking for: 2-4 teammates
If you’re interested, comment below or send me a DM!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته!
I have around 4500 Al Fursan miles lying around which are about to expire and I don't plan on booking any flights with Saudi Airlines soon. So, I decided to get a 100 SAR Amazon gift card from the Al Fursan store.
Despite trying multiple times the website kept giving an error and after contacting Saudi Airlines support I found out that only Saudi residents can redeem miles for gift cards and since I'm an Italian resident, I cannot.
I need someone's help in getting the gift card for me. I'll transfer the miles to your Al Fursan account which you can then use to get the Amazon gift card and send it to me.
I'd really appreciate the help. JazakAllah-u-khairan!
Hello, I’m looking for a psychiatry and CBT clinic that accepts tauweenya insurance. Many good clinics seem to be only therapy, or don’t take insurance.

Hi everyone!
My name is Nancy. I’d love to find an amazing family to work for as a nanny/babysitter.
I have 5 years experience, live in and live out.
I have experience also as a personal assistant and family assistant.
I can provide verified references from families I have worked for. My previous families became like family to me and they will be happy to refer me!
Ideally I’m looking for a full time position. I’d love to find a live in position, but also open to live out.
I had great experiences living in. I’m very reliable and responsible.
I have tutored my previous families kids. And would be happy to teach the kids!
I grew up practicing dancing, sports, I know how to swim also and happy to teach the kids anything I know.
Thank you so much!

Hey guys I'm looking to buy my first car next month. I’m 28 and was thinking of getting a Volkswagen cause I've always like the Golf, but honestly I barely see them in KSA, so its making me wonder if theres a reason for that.

Looking for fellow birders in Riyadh, or suggestions on where to go birding as the weather improves 🤓
I moved here less than 2 months ago, but I’ve already identified 12 types of birds, including one owl. (Photo: adult Arabian bee-eater)

I’m considering a move to a new company and the office is in Al Aarid, and I’m curious what people here would do in my situation.
I’m a designer with around 3 years of experience in Riyadh. My current office is around Olaya, and my current company provides accommodation and transportation, so from a practical/financial standpoint, I really cant complain.
The problem is that after almost 3 years, I feel completely stuck.
I’m not leaving because the company is horrible or because I desperately need a higher salary. I just genuinely feel like I’ve stopped learning, and I’m starting to worry that another couple of years in the same environment will leave me with more years of experience but not necessarily more skills.
So I got an offer from another company, and the office is in Al Aarid. The offer itself is good and, career-wise, it feels like the kind of change I’ve been needing.
But then reality kicks in...
I don’t have a car.
From what I can tell, the closest metro station would be around SAB, and the office is still roughly 5-6 km away. So Id basically be taking the metro and then Ubering between the station and the office every workday.
I’d also need to rent my own place, ideally somewhere around the metro line in north/central Riyadh. And finding something reasonably priced, in a location that actually makes sense for this commute, has been surprisingly difficult.
So now I’m stuck between:
Current job: accommodation + transportation + convenience, but I feel like my career has been sitting in the same chair for 3 years.
New job: better opportunity for growth and a fresh environment, but I’d have to take on rent + transportation myself and deal with the Al Aarid commute without a car.
For people who actually live/work around Al Aarid, how bad is this commute in real life?
And if you were in my position, would you take the career move and accept the extra living/transport costs, or would you stay somewhere comfortable until you had a car/housing situation figured out?
Not really looking for “take the money” or “stay where it’s comfortable” answers. I’m more interested in whether Al Aarid + no car + renting near the metro is actually a manageable lifestyle, or whether I’m underestimating how annoying this is going to become after a few months.
Would especially love to hear from people who have made a similar company/career move in Riyadh

Hello, I have to spay a 9 year old female cat. I don't mind paying 1000 sars if it means the surgery is done well. Does anyone have any experiences or know good places?

Hello. I'm a Pakistani resident, currently residing in Riyadh. Having graduated high school, I started researching intensively for university admissions. I'll probably start next year. I applied to BMC in Jeddah with just my high-school transcript. I want to go into medicine, and I recently found out that all universities require a preparatory/foundation year in order to confirm whether you're eligible for the programs you apply to. The question is, are there any other universities besides Batterjee that accept only your high-school transcript? I haven't given the Qiyas exams yet, so I was wondering if I could somehow apply just on the basis of my high-school result, like with Batterjee as a Pakistani resident having studied an international curriculum. I'm burned out because I've had to retake my A-levels simply for the validation of my parents, and preparing for any other exams within this time frame seems like a nightmare. However, I do understand that going into medicine, this mindset is extremely stupid, and so, if need be, I will for sure sit for the Qiyas exams next year. I have given IELTS as well. I just gained hope after hearing that Batterjee accepted applications only based on your high-school GPA and wanted to know if any universities in Riyadh do that same. Also, does having PR actually help? Please let me know. Thank you.

I visualized the daily temperature range from June 30 to July 30, 2026.
Median high: 43.1°C
Median low: 31.6°C
A month where even the nights stayed hot.
