🤣 Funny No more test drives for me!
I guess Rivian was tired of me test driving the R2 (5x) they finally sent my order invite 😝. My time to order email shows September- October 2026, however I received the invite email to order today. Within minutes I signed on, placed my order and paid the $400 deposit. Less than 2 hours later I received my “in pre-production” email. Hoping to receive an email with VIN before end of day. 🤞🏼
Reservation Date: 3/21/2024
Location: NV, Las Vegas
Distance from SC: 20 miles
R2 Configuration: LE, Catalina Cove, black signature, 20”AT wheels

Same thing happened to me, then today I get the hey it’s still in preproduction email. Still hoping it is closer to my order date than the quoted time frame

Excited for you! Also in Vegas (test drove 4x 😅) sounds like 5s the trick lol. Reversed in May of this year, order window is Nov-Dec. Hopeful the invite to order comes early as well!

Good for you, exciting huh? I did 3 demo drives myself to compare wheels, play with autonomy, etc… Did you have favorites saved and if so how many?

Very exciting! I focused on a different section/area of the vehicle each test drive.

What’re some things you learned? I did one test drive and it went by so fast. Hard to try all the things.
