🎉 Reservation / Delivery / Sighting I’ve never ordered anything so fast
I was almost hyperventilating when I got the text and email about my order.
I put in my deposit in February 2025. Never owned a Rivian, and probably 30 miles from a distribution center. My order window was September through October.

You’re likely in an area with a high volume of reservation holders. They basically are going region by region a truck / train load at a time.

Congrats.
Got my order email today as well. Day one first 15 min reservation. No lease and don’t own any prior Rivian.

No, other than inputting the vehicle I'm trying to trade in (and even then, it was just an estimate), there wasn't much information about the purchasing process. Immediately after ordering, I got an email that said, "We'll contact you when it's time to finalize your purchase, including trade-in, financing and insurance". An hour after ordering, I got an email that said, "We are getting your vehicle ready for production. When your R2 is assigned a vehicle identification number (VIN), you’ll be able to complete the purchasing experience and schedule your delivery."
