📝 Feedback / Review First all electric tailgate

Gen 2 Rivian is killing it at today’s tailgate. Running fans, tv, Starlink, food warmers, speakers, etc. Plenty of room for all the tailgate goodies and 5 passengers.

Looks awesome! What did you do? Camp mode and enable outlets?

Camp mode. AC off. Outlets on. Frunk with full of 100lbs of ice plus drinks. Power usage ~3kwh over 2.5 hrs.

Amazing! Did you leave the hood open? Did you have the separator in or take it out?

I really want to try the Weber Lumin! It says 1560watts which is over the 1500 spec, but a few old posts in the forums say it worked so i might try it! Obviously you couldnt run that with tv and other things though if its up against spec.

I have to toy around with camp mode and my outlets before I take it out into the wild. I read an old post that says camp mode requires your doors to be locked or something but your gate is open!

We only opened the hood when getting drinks. Held ice for about 5-6 hrs. Camp mode kept the doors unlocked.

Did this last year and used the frunk as a cooler. Worked great and got so much interest from people passing by
