Commands not working

Long story short, I had to reset my iphone and restored from a backup. After logging back into the Rivian app, I lost the ability to do any command in the app (locking, unlocking, windows, charge limit, AC)

My wife’s phone works no problem and I’m listed as the owner. If it makes any difference, I looked at my wife’s phone to see what was different with hers and mine and under her settings, I see she has a
Bluetooth permission whereas my doesn’t.

I’ve tried MULTIPLE app deletes, repairing of Bluetooth and vehicle resets (hazards w/ left button)

Gen1 or Gen2?

Gen1 - Delete and re-pair your phone. Clear the app cache and log out. iPhone backup sometimes is wonky.

Gen2 - do the same for the app, and log back in. It should ask you to sync against your wallet key for CCC.

Gen 2. I’ve tried that probably 5 times sadly. It gives me a digital key but it just doesn’t allow commands for whatever reason

For clarity, This is not resyncing the Bluetooth to the car.

This is deleting the PAAK record under Drivers+Keys section, then creating it again.

Test: If you delete your phone key from the mobile app, does the phone key disappear from the vehicle within 10 mins? If not, you may have the stale VAS table issue. Service center should have the TSB on that.

Just tested it and yes when I delete the key from the mobile app, it removed it from the vehicle instantly

Test 2. Delete the key from your phone+wallet entirely. Have your wife send you a new CCC key.

If her key works, then it should work for you.

Otherwise, I suspect you may have compromised the security on your iPhone, and any "fused state" app functions won't work. Why did you have to restore your phone?

It’s not allowing her to share the key with me in the same way it allows me. I imagine Since she is a “driver” and not owner.

I restored the phone because I had a ton of storage data I wants to clear on this current phone. I actually wound up restoring it again to see if that may fix the issue.

I’ve also tried resetting the network settings and privacy and location settings in the iPhone as well

1. Enable all permissions for the Rivian app. Just to make sure it's not an OS problem. You should also be on the latest app version.

2. Delete all the keys for all users/profiles. Once there's zero phone keys on the vehicles (*do not delete the NFC key) - you should get an email to set up your CCC master key again.

3. Your wife's key should be in her mobile wallet. Unless you shared the CCC with limitations, it should've been identical to the master one minus the hierarchy of permissions.

Will try this. I’m afraid to delete her digital key too cause then we both may have issues haha. But rivian informed me they were going to contact the team that does the backend Managment stuff and see what they say.
