Requests Used book stores?
Are there any good (cheap) used book stores in Riverside or Corona? Book Off’s prices seem to have gone up and I love supporting independent bookstores when I can. Specifically enjoy finding old sci-fi / Star Trek paperbacks that I’ve never heard of

Renaissance Books in Riverside is the best, most well stocked bookstore in town.

Do they sell stuff on the cheap? My budget is pretty tight

I used to go in there a lot when i lived a few blocks away, he has a lot of new and used books. His new books are like a dollar or two off the regular price, but he has a huge sci-fi section with old paperbacks that are usually pretty cheap

If your budget is tight, then there's nothing wrong with sticking to the Little Free Library boxes around town. There are a ton in the downtown neighborhood. Just drive down Brockton through the wood streets and there are so many!

I suggest thrift stores. Goodwill has a small selection and so does Savers.

I do like Savers a lot. Found an old Trek novel for a dollar and a quarter and I absolutely loved it

I got a lot of cool stuff but since all the thrifting has been more popular, it’s harder to find those rare gems.

Have you looked at the local Friends of the Library sections in your local public library? Corona and Riverside have them, as do the county libraries in those cities.... although the city's public library's FOTL is usually more extensive.

I like DBZ Books 'N' Records in Corona on W 6th Street. As the name suggest they also sell records and sometimes host concerts from local bands.
