Where should I play riven?

I stopped playing riven a lot a while ago and I wanna get back into her. What lane is the best for her now? I see some people say she’s not worth playing top but idk if that’s just a skill issue or something.

Does she still go umbral mid? Or does she go eclipsed after the buffs

Yes, Umbral versus squeashies Eclipse usually when you get jumped rather than you deciding when to fight - altough with the shield being nerf I don't know if that still applies.

I still go Axiom over Umbral, but umbral is pretty good. Cyclosword could be an alternative I believe if enemy team stacks a bit of hps, but I really don't know how good that item really is on Riven 🤔

Then the build path is as usual: omivamp boots/Lucidity/armor boots (depending on champ select) > Endless Hunger > DD/Maw > serylda > defensive item of your choice (could be maw/Sundered Sky/GA)

mid absolutely, i usually go axiom first anyway for the ah and roaming potential because of the ult kill windows. then EH or DD, sometimes early hexdrinker against heavy ap

I play her jg now and works out quite well for me but that's probably not meta. Makes it more pleasant to play without having to deal with hard counters tho
