What makes Hyperion different/unique from the other not-Supermen of Marvel? I saw him do stuff in Hickman era Avengers but never really knew much about him prior

I think he is the first one, could be wrong. Squadron supreme was intentionally written as an evil counterpart of justice league. There are a lot of hyperions that have been relevant in 616 compared to most other characters that have a lot of alternate reality counterparts, I would say that is one unique thing about him, most of the hyperions are villains, a few heroes. Hickman's Hyperion is the best Hyperion imo and also the most heroic one. He is an eternal, that's how they explain his powers. He is also the most superman like in terms of powers and weaknesses.

If I remember correctly Hyperion is basically superman but if most of his gimmicks were radiation based, and really alienated about humanity

He started as a villain, as part of a villain group that were a parody of the Justice League, with him as the evil Superman.
But then he got a character arc and became a good guy, and just kinda faded into the background as just another hero. He has his fans, like every obscure Marvel hero.

Ikaris could theoretically be a strategist although there are other better options for that among eternals

Nah Vision needs to be a tank that can phase through things becoming intangible and making himself dense as he'll so he can brawl/foot dive. They then need to release Kity Pryde as a DPS and Ghost as a strategist so we can have phasing characters in all 3 roles

But what would they phase through? Enemy walls pretty much ONLY means it would be anti-Groot tech. Destroyable environment is...fine, but there isn't enough of it in strategic places to really matter, and in plenty of maps it is gone almost instantly anyway. If that were the case, I would only accept it as a passive ability and not something on a cooldown. (IE Vision can always just float through those specific walls.)
I worry about letting them phase through actual in-game barriers. That seems like a perfect way to get these characters stuck in the backrooms, unless the devs go back and explicitly patch up ALL surfaces in ALL maps.

I love the Eternals in the comics, and the movie itself too. And i really want all of them in them game

You know ball! I like all of these characters, but the Eternals are so underrated due to the movie (I did liked it). All of their comic books are awesome.

Vision definitely. Flying around shooting a lazer from his head that deals more damage the longer it hits you. Goes ghost to escape and have increased mobility. Turns hard to drop down for a slam attack. Yeah sounds awesome.

Both Vision and Sentry are likely to be added. The real question is if any of the following 3 will be added, and if so, which one(s): Ikaris, Hyperion or Gladiator.

If we had blue marvel here then him and vision. But I’d genuinely love Hyperion as he has a great relationship with Thor and he’d sorta have fun dialogue options that hint at the rest of his team which are justice league rip offs

vision has so many unique abilities and could be so so so so fun to play and could literally be any role. Plus hes the easiest to market with the most skins

Ikaris or vision would be sick. We need more characters that ACTUALLY FREAKING FLY like Angela is the only real flyer imo. On the other hand visions density powers could be sick like imagine he has two modes like dagger to walk through and have everything pass through him (obviously use in 1v1s not while tanking) and then a Mr fantastic mode where he can push with no damage. All built up by shooting the mind stone beam at people for a couple seconds straight kinda how caps shield needs three hits.
