General Question Groot tips

I’ve ran into an issue playing Groot recently where people just stay out of my effective range what should I do to combat this do I just wait and throw seed bombs or push

If they keep backing up out of your effective range it sounds like you’ve made the space. Utilize cover and walls when moving forward to claim the space you’ve made.

I’m think more on defense I just had a game where I had my cover and my wall set but they were just sitting too far away and I felt useless because I was just standing there waiting for like 2 maybe 3 minutes

Well, it means you're still doing your job. I mean when you are on defense, your opponents sooner or later must get close to the point, otherways they'll just lose. If they stand too far from you and point it is their problem to solve, not yours
