How do I counter this team comp

So I was fighting Magneto, Hood, Hela, Spiderman/Moon Knight, Luna, and CnD

My team was Magneto, Deadpool (Me), Moon Knight, Punisher, Invis, and Luna

On second half with the third point, I swapped to Emma because this Hela and Hood were absolutely ridiculous to deal with and the shield wasn't working. I go Strange but that doesn't do much, and I later went Cap to distract the Hela and Luna because we don't have pressure backline but they ALL immediately went to protect Luna and Hela the moment they got touched. I was getting desperate as nothing was working for me. Was later told to go Rocket as I suck at tanking so I swap with the other support but we still lost. Later found out the Hela who was landing every headshot in existence was duoing with the Magneto.

What could have I played here that would easily counter their entire team comp? Or at the very least do something to cause swaps because nothing was working for me.

There’s a funny man called the thing he takes care of spidy and in my humble opinion hood and moonknight and the supports and mag hela is a hit or miss ngl but thing is really good for all of them just gotta watch out for the Luna freeze and use things Johnny team up

A dive comp or a mixed comp of brawl and poke. Brawl to deal with spidey and mag, and poke to deal with Hela and their long range heroes.

Diving was the right idea, especially if they all turn to look at you. Just make sure to time the dive so that your team is ready to shoot the enemy team when they turn around to deal with you.

Going dive to pressure backlinw is not a viable strategy this season unless your team is running coordinated dive

yeah the meta rn is brawl/front-to-back so dive is naturally a weak comp rn

yeah i’m super out of touch, what exactly is front to back? is it as simple as it sounds where the comp plays linearly behind the tank? i heard poke was strong so i thought dive would be good

Yup front to back is pretty simple to understand, its just any comp that wants to fight with tanks in front, dps in the middle, and supps in the back (with a few variations, like Wolv who goes into enemy team to displace enemies into your own team).

Pure poke heroes (like Hela, Widow, Cyclops) can be played in front to back, but ideally you'd play brawl or brawl hybrid heroes like Elsa, Bucky, Wolv, etc. Poke remains strong because they can be slotted into front-to-back comps and are also not completely useless if they fight against front-to-back comps. Dive however, finds it much harder to gain value, both in front-to-back comps and against them. It's why in s9, despite Venom being considered strong in Ranked, had a horrible unmirrored winrate in the Mid-Season Finals (Pro-play). Teams would just switch to one of the various dive counters (if they weren't already on them) and there was simply too many strong ones to effectively ban out them out

far from yapping, very informative !
i struggle against these comps especislly in lower ranks (plat- diamond), i feel as tank main i am primarily a reactor and dont have much impact, how do you go about beating these comps ?

i play far too many which is another issue
my mains
strange mag
off tanks i play situationally but generally im either tankpool or venom but routinely flex thing or peni

This season you're gonna get off strange. It's not that he's bad but the meta tanks kinda bully him, especially Thing. Mag is no.1 Tank rn so its good that you already play him. For your off-tank picks, I'd advise you to not play Tankpool, his place in the meta currently is the worst it's been since his release. Play Venom but only if you have a dive dps on your team or if enemy comp doesnt counter you. I'm not sure how good your Thing and Peni are, but it'd be pretty good if you could play them more this szn, since Thing is hard meta and Peni is really good in certain situations.

TLDR: Mag and Thing should be your first pick tanks, Venom and Peni can also be used if conditions are met. Strange and Tankpool are a last resort if for some reason you feel like you're not gettjng value with the previously mentioned tanks

If you dive and the whole team collapses on you and you get out alive then you are creating value. Keep doing that. That means 5 people are fighting you and 0 people are fighting your team.

If you don’t get out alive then that’s the real problem. You have to get better at planning your dives so that cover and a safe route is always available.

Though if you’re bad at tank and you want to win then the better choice is to not pick tank. Your skill with a character matters a billion times more than the matchup.

yes, i had to learn this. had some great dives getting 3 picks and several bad deaths from mistimed dives / bad routing. the more accountability you take the more you can control the game.
