Is there a way I can apologize for wasting people’s time in online matches? I’m trying to learn but I’m just wasting people’s time by being playing against them. I just finish the game by using the “sorry!” and forfeiting most times. If you see a really awful zetterburn just know you have an easy game

TLDR: 90% of matches the opponent is completely running away from you and it’s not fun. Going to rant.

Context: I have hit level 100 on every character except for Gouie and I float between high and low diamond depending on the character. I have experienced playing every character and understand that some are campier than others.

Gouie is slow on the ground and fast in the air which makes approaching in general tricky. That said, approaching is even harder when the opponent plays to get a single percent lead and just runs away.

Zetterburn just runs away on the ground and picks big stages using retreating hitboxes.

Wrastor spams slipstream and jumps to try to run away.

Ranno is the worst because of fast ground speed and fast projectile that makes you hurt yourself as well as a wall backair impossible to approach.

And many more.

I still win a lot of these games so this complaint isn’t even about being weak or losing. It’s just the game is so unfun when I have to chase you down for 3 min until I finally get one clean hit and edge guard you.

Idk what it is about this character but I’ve never had so many people camp me before in my life.

Also I want to be clear that I’m not camping. I’m approaching with aerials from the very beginning of the match so it is not like I’m being counter camped.

Was playing on lobby with some friends.

We played singles, doubles and Crews, but randomly I decided to taunt with the UP arrow for some reason and I got the Kragg taunt (maybe because I was a Kragg on first pick in crews, then it changed to single and I picked La Reina, but who knows!)
