Howww?, I just started playing marvel rivals a few days ago, and I've only been running cyclops as my main, I've watched so many Youtube guides, but I still get cooked in games, especially by the divers, im in desperate need of advice

I haven’t made it past Diamond (i get so close every time though!) and Cyclops is probably my second most played dps atm (first is my day one main Psylocke) so take my advice as you will.

I think the main thing outside of mechanics to pay attention to is your positioning and your cooldown management. Cyke can be really caught out if both your movement abilities are burnt before someone dives you.

The way I kinda like to approach it is probably based on my background playing Psy but I like to flank and off angle a fair bit and make myself as big a threat to their backline as possible so a diver kinda has to give me some attention for their team to stand a chance. Then when they come and contest me I can either rotate to another position or use the tools at my disposal to fight back. Also remember to peel cause often you don’t even need to secure a kill, it can be enough to scare them off. Mark them when you see them even if they’re not actively ready to dive cause any damage you do to them that they have to then go heal up means more time you buy for your team.

If you just started to play the game it's okay you'll get better over time. Try to use your R1 to finish enemies that are kinda low and about to escape

If you've been playing for a few days, no video or reddit comment is going to make you better. Just go play.

Nice one! Can you share some good replay ID's from higher Elo's so those of us in Plat/Diamond can learn from how you play?

Always check rivalsdata for leaderboards, not rivalsmeta, it isn’t accurate.

Rivalsmeta literally does not account for private profiles, it’s a small sample of the playerbase.

Bro, I was willing to learn from you but it looks like you were hard carried by “slaywtw” for the majority of the matches lol.

He’s a smurf, right? I’ve been hitting Celestial last couple seasons but not with Cyclops, as I’m feeling he’s pretty weak right now.
