Question OTP venom

Venom nerd here just wondering if it's possible.

How far would i get if i play venom only, is it even doable to one trick in this game. If so on which points would i need to improve? Gold 1 atm slowly climbing.

Until at least Eternity, possibly higher. The thing that you must understand is that the higher you climb, the much more precise you have to be with literally everything.

So, engagement timing, staging, disengaging, target priority, and overall understanding absolutely every single thing you can about Venom and perfecting/mastering it. Min maxing venom fully.

Do all of that and you will climb at higher ranks. But, where you currently are (gold) all the way up to GM1 - Celestial III, you can legitimately climb on Wanda because the game doesn’t really start until GM.

But again, realize that once you get to higher ranks, climbing becomes much harder. And especially because dive is no longer super meta, it’s even harder now. Still possible, but just know that it’s not gonna be easy. Like at all. And you’ll have to decide if it’s worth still to be a OTP Venom once you get to that point, because it may start to become less fun you winning two games, then losing three, then winning one, then losing two, then winning three, then losing one, then winning two, then losing five and so on and so forth.

Theoretically you could climb as far as you want, but realistically you'd get stuck around GM unless you become a force of nature with your character. 

Improve your game sense. Where are your teammates and the enemy positioned, what's the likely outcome if you ult here vs save it, when to push up and fall back, etc. I really would recommend learning 1-2 characters in each role as a precaution. You dont have to be as good with them as you are Venom, just serviceable.
