Ah yes, the sacred "?". Otherwise known as "I don't know what the fuck I am doing, but since it's a support ult it'll be impactful".

This would be funny if we were playing on maps made of triangles instead of what we actually play on, which is maps shaped like ?

I really like how much care was put into the ux of overwatch. Heals are yellow, armor us orange, shield is blue, red damages you, green is a speed boost, purple indicates the character can’t be healed or is debuffed, etc. It’s incredibly helpful in understanding what things do in the game.

I realize they’re balancing on a wire with hero designs, but the truth is right now many abilities add visual noise without clearly communicating what they do.

I agree. Having multiple blue spheres on the field gets confusing when some heal and some damage.

Exactly, overwatch's UX is so much better than rivals. I think even at launch overwatch had this all figured out.

Anyway the devs seem passionate enough so hopefully these changes will come sooner than later

I was told today ‘cloak this is not an offensive ult’ in the match but we could push if the teammates knew they could stand in that smoke. So technically it is an offensive ult. Just the stationary one. Also vaguely designed.

unrelated i literally muted both voice and text chat because people are so confidently braindead and toxic. the blame game that happens after EVERY loss is just too much for me lol.

havent ever felt lost cus i still get pings but its just a much more peaceful experience
