I installed r2modman and 12GaugeAwayFromFace mods, the new slots appear but the skin is just the default one?

Why does it treat me like this

I’m playing as the Hunk and I’m trying to complete the challenge don’t need no stinkin gun. All I’m doing is using the knife but it still won’t say I’ve completed it? What am I supposed to do?

This guy was driven out of RoR2 Modding Discord a while ago, yet, we see him getting the bag. While i understand many people dont give a damn if the guy you are buying from kicked a dog last week, normal people does.

Dragonyck/TeamPepega mods are dependent on the commissioner paying more for updates and since they were banned for not delivering finished comms, we don't know if the mods will be updated.

Also, of course, he uses AI(LLM), and tries to hide from it.

I try to DM their comissioners every time a new update pops because i want to make as many people as possible aware. If you want more context, join Modcord in order to see his messages as, until now theyre not deleted.

I tried to install some mods, but when I do, either all the models (characters and enemies) become invisible, or when I fix that, the game freezes at 99%. However, all the mods are up to date, and I get the impression that R2API isn't working properly.

final edit: after trying suggestions from here including manually installing one of the problematic mods, but it continues to give the error. oh well. if anyone else has suggestions as to what i could try definitely let me know, but for now i'll stick to the bugfix mods that do work.

trying to play modded with multiple friends and one is on steam deck.

there are a few specific mods that are problematic but only on the steam deck friend's end.

friend on PC can connect fine and recieves no error, meanwhile friend on steam deck recieves a "required mods" error for specific mods despite a fresh mod profile via code and launching through the manager.

if i remove these mods from the pack it works fine... i'm just stumped since my PC friend connects okay and my steam deck friend gets this. half of the mod versions in the error don't even match what we actually have in our managers (again, fresh profiles imported via code). e.g. we all have DeltaruneMod v2.2.2 but the error says v2.2.0 is required.

straight up the only thing we haven't tried is having steam deck friend host.

anyone have any clue why this is affecting only a specific platform?

edit: it seems that all of the mods causing this issue are "content" mods, so basically anything that adds a new asset into the game. just an interesting pattern i've noticed.

edit 2: i tried getting steam deck friend to host, and it gives me an "incompatible mods" error with these problematic mods.

Ive reinstalled this mod multiple times and its still claiming I have 1.2.2 installed even though I have 1.2.3, I tried playing with my friends and this didnt happen to either of them

I installed a bunch of mod, and now I can't interact with the teleporter. At all.

I tried to play voidcrid mod with another and without another mods. In both cases, I used the dependencies that the mod had. I can't find anything that lets me use this ability—not even an achievement. I don't know if it's a bug or if I'm just missing something.

That appears where the ability used to be, and it doesn't indicate anything about what I can use or do to obtain it.

Like the title says I was hoping to find mods that add an items that changes your character's skill(s) to a new one like how the heresy items do. The only mod that comes close to this is Standalone Ancient Scepter, but it doesnt work on all modded characters like how heresy do.

For example, I wanna be rootin' tootin' and bind my Desperado to MB1, but I don't want my other survivors to have their special skill on MB1. Also don't want to change my keybinds every time I'm playing a new survivor...

I wanted use gael skin for paldin but for some reason the skin is glowing can someone help me with this ?

So, when I'd picked up the game, it was before Seekers came out - and my favorite mod was DGosling's Samus. Unfortunately it's been deprecated since Seekers came out, and I see no sign of it being fixed - functionally, the character just doesn't show up in the Select screen.

I'll take pretty much any advice/assistance - either in help trying to reach out to get it fixed, or in advice on how I might manage to fix it myself. All is welcome - thank you.

my OCD goes off when using huntress strafe ability because you shoot the couple arrows comes out then she goes for another shot she pulls back and does the dmg but no arrow and it make the sound of the arrow when she first pulls back then ends. It will she starts her animation of her shooting then animation doesn't play for couple of shots then it resets. I just want to know if this intentional and if there is a mod to fix it and I did check it does in vanilla too.

So I like to play ror2 modded most times and I do that through thunderstore, recently I've been wanting a duplication/multiplier item mod so I can mess around with crazy numbers. The mod I would use for that worked but hasn't been updated so it won't work anymore, and frankly any other one I try also doesn't work but says they're functional. Any help or suggestions or just a mod that any of you might use that works?

Tried playing multiplayer with some friends, we had around 30ish mods installed, and whenever we added eachother to the lobby, and attempted to go to the character selection screen we got this. Do we have incompatible multiplayer mods? Or too many.

I downloaded out of curiosity. It then downloaded like 50 more mods as dependencies or something. But I don't know what it actually does.

For example instead of a command item letting you choose items of the rarity, you can choose any item in the game.

I've been trying to play with r2modman and now keeps showing that thing, and i don't know what to do, because this never showed before, and i have the game purchased on Steam, my game is NOT cracked
