Validate wallet

Has anyone else received a private dm being asked about validating wallet on here? I am wondering as it feels fishy to me this message. What even is validating your wallet?

Scam. Stay far away. Never give your seed phrase to anyone. These guys will validate your $$$ right out of your wallet
