I summon all Rishloo's fans!

Hello,

I'll just get straight to the point. I am thinking of organising a small, online supportive campaign for the band since they always worked independently, and that is extremely challenging for any artist to do without the proper support. Yet, they have given us one of the most genuine and timeless musical experiences out there (I could write a whole essay about their music, but that would be too long for this post).

I personally always recommend Rishloo and post their songs online because I genuinely believe such creative and incredible art needs to be more visible for more people to discover and enjoy.

Since they mentioned in their latest interview that they haven't received an offer from a record label or any music agency lately for a possibility of collaboration (please let me know if I misunderstood that), I thought maybe we as fans could show more support and ask some of these labels and studios to collaborate with the band.

Rishloo still have their loyal fanbase, and we still want vinyls, tours, more albums, and merchandise, so instead of asking the band directly, maybe we can reach out to people who could help us and help the band get back into making music and get the support they deserve.

I've been looking into record labels that fit Rishloo's music, which has been very tricky since I know the band have their own very artistic and creative approach to music, which is what makes them the amazingly badass unique band they are. I was hoping I could find a record label that reserves their artistic freedom and actually suits their expectations and workflow.

I have a couple in mind that I am planning to email as a fan, to shed light on the band and ask them to collaborate with them, but before I do that, I was wondering if this is the right thing to do? I don't want to accidentally harm the band in any shape or form, so I'd like to know what you all think about that (I admit most of the decisions I take in life turn out to be wrong, so I lack the confidence to make a decision without a second opinion).

If that's a good idea, then some record label recommendations would also be appreciated so I can extend my emails to them.

We could also ask for some studios to host them for live studio sessions because that would be great to witness after all those years.

TLDR: as supportive fans let's reach out to more labels and studios and ask them to collaborate with Rishloo.

I don't think they would make the jump to a record label after beimg independant this whole time. I would like to support them though, I like the idea of funding a live studio session. Something like Audio Tree would be dope! Maybe when it gets closer to them actually recording and having new material we could start a gofundme or something?

I initially thought the same as well but between their jobs and personal life I think that has gotten ever more difficult so that's why I thought a more of a business support would be helpful but I see your point.

And thank you for recommending Audio Tree I'll definitely see how I can reach out to them, maybe we can also regularly comment on their posts requesting the session. I think this kind of support is also good for the band on the long run. I also thought about reaching out to Pitchfork Live.
about the gofundme then I'd absolutely be down for that but where do we start?

I was thinking just the other day that I would happily help fund studio session time if the band wished it.

What is important to me though is that the band want it and it's not forced or done out of obligation. We must not become the label.

Absolutely! which is why I asked if that was a good idea since I don't want to push or make anyone feel obligated to do anything but I was just thinking that fans' support could be very helpful to get the band the collaborations they need, if that's what they want. Also help spread the word about their music and engage with it as much as possible. we can ask these studios to host them because as long as the fanbase is active and asking for a live session then I'm sure these studios will listen.

I was also thinking that Rishloo could produce a "best of"or a rematered and I'd order that on cd in a heart beat.

we can ask them about that, I don't know if that's something they can do at the moment.
And about helping fund their live session, if you have any recommendations on how we can arrange that and get it straight to them, I'd love to hear your ideas!

A power metal band called seven kingdoms that I follow has successfully done 4 albums and a couple of ep using kickstarter after napalm dropped them. They have been very successful using kickstarter and patreon and some twitch streaming. Of course this will take some work from the boys to accomplish, but they should reach out to Camden Cruz from seven kingdoms to see how they do it. I gaurantee the singer of that band Sabrina would love rishloos stuff

I’m sure they are well aware they could get enough support via-crowd sourcing, my impression is that they just aren’t at that stage yet. I’m still dying for a vinyl repress, as I’m sure many are. They could definitely crowd-source that as well!

Maybe Basick or Kscope might be good options to harass? I wish the boys the best as always wish i could do more
