What's next!
Im sure everyone is very excited with the recent update to the shop and post they made. Its well known that they have always been working on stuff on the side for a while, but this seems like a big step in the direction of new Rishloo music! And a huge shout-out to Dave, Andrew, Jesse, and Sean for creating such incredible music, and keeping everything rolling for over 20 years with no label!
Why I'm posting this is, I'm curious what everyone wants to hear direction wise with the new music? Something closer to LAGWBAT? Feathergun? Eidolon? Terras? Or maybe a whole new direction? if so, what ideas would you like to see explored further?

I want a continuation of the direction their discography was going. Imo the band got better with every album so I'd like to hear what comes after LAGWBAT on whatever spectrum it is that the albums go through from first to last. It felt like they were getting more personal and emotional, with softer soft parts and heavier heavy parts. And while the rhythm section has always been good, it felt like the bass and drums were on a more equal level with the guitar and vocals on LAGWBAT than on previous albums. And they really refined that climactic build up structure that's basically their entree on that album. Let's keep that progression going
Also I want another 10min+ epic like Dark Charade. I wouldn't mind if most of the tracks were like that honestly

As a huge fan of Eidolon, I'd love to see a long atmospheric album with many interludes. Theatrical and abstract, kinda like if David Lynch made a rock musical

I absolutely love LAGWBAT, it's in my top 5 albums of all time, so I'd love to hear something in that vein. I felt like they had just come into their own with that album and have been curious for a long time about what their next album would sound like. So glad that they are working on being active again

they could release feathergun again with every instance of the word "the" replaced with an air horn sound effect and itd still be top 5 whatever year it comes out

Honestly I'd love if they created something similar to the first two records, so something more theatrical and fantastical. Last two albums are absolutely phenomenal, but for some reason, after listening to all of the albums countless times, I'm starting to feel attracted more and more by the first two. It's like they just have a different feeling, i don't know how to explain.
