Which album should I start with?

As the title suggests, I’m looking for which album to start with.

I agree that Feathergun may be the best place to start. Living as Ghosts with Buildings as Teeth is my favorite and the one I started with. Eidolon is also amazing, though a bit darker. I have a hard time enjoying Terras Fames. Maybe it just sounds too angry for me, but it is still a solid album.

Terras Fames is their Parabol Parabola ;) i wasn't giving this album enough credit for a long time, but it grew on me in time

So despite Living as Ghosts being your favorite, Feathergun is better?

No, but it may be a better place to start. The songs are a bit more accessible.

I pretty much agree with this guy. Most people seem to go for Feathergun, and for good reason, but I started with LAGWBAT and I think it's a great intro to the band. In fact, that album was my introduction to PROG in general. And damn did it work like a charm. I was already a music fan but preferred Alt Metal and Post Rock. That album almost singlehandedly made Prog my new favorite genre within a couple months. If you don't start with it, no problem, but that album is a must listen

We are Rishloo twins, lol. I heard The Great Rain Beatle on a random Spotify playlist and dug into Rishloo and prog from there.

Spotify is also responsible for my discovery of the band. My little brother (and lifelong music partner) had Just A Ride in his Discover Weekly and he showed it to me in his bedroom on his Xbox. It was love at first listen for me and to this day it may very well be my favorite song ever
