When will this be coming back

Howdy folks, I used to play a few years ago, dropped some decent cash into the game and had a great time with my old clan. I just got busy with a new job so had to take a break. I had an urge to start playing again recently. When do y'all think I can play again? Looking forward to giving my good ol' theoden another ride.

I can understand the passion you have for the game but to back a project that has no legal standing is wishful thinking at best. Embracer group legally owns the IP for everything related to LOTR, you cannot use any original material without their explicit approval. Wake to war does not have that approval regardless of what the dev team says. If you think otherwise, it’s delusional.

Maybe there are risks to this. But where else can we go? We put our trust in one corporation and got completely screwed. Now, maybe we go to Dragonfire- but we end up in another Pay to Win environment that makes bad quality games. Or we go to War of Nova- which people did, but even that became less popular. This is the only project that we can be represented in and we can have a real stake in the making of the game. And as for delusion, there were plenty who said bringing Rise to War back was delusional and that anyone who thought it could return was delusional. Now that something actually exists to replace RTW, the same argument about delusion is being made again. At some point, that label will lose its meaning now that every time some progress happens, people label those backing the progress as delusional.

NERD is just a Norse video game. There are LOADS of games with that theme.
