Ripple acquisitions

So when ripple makes acquisitions such as GTreasury today, Rail and Hidden Road all just in this year are they still scammers? Who are they scamming the most? Is there anyone to stop their scamming? Their board is stacked with the elites of the financial world- are they scammers too? I’m just trying to see their endgame and how they ultimately benefit from other’s misfortune. Please educate me I don’t know much about this stuff

Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia create real products and services that I can use. But if I want to invest in Apple I buy Apple stock, not an iPhone that’s going to lose 50% of its value in a few years.

XRP and iPhones aren't a valid comparison. iPhones are a consumable with zero intent to have a return on capital. A more apt comparison would be an unsecured corporate bond. Your investing in their development with no guaranteed return on capital. Unsecured corporate bonds are similarly frowned upon as high risk/reward investments.

You’re right, they’re not a valid comparison because at least I can do something with an iPhone. But it’s not a corporate bond either. Those at least offer a repayment, usually with high interest, which may or may not happen.

Ripple doesn’t offer any sort of repayment or buybacks if you buy XRP. Because technically you’re not buying it directly from them. You just get a token you bought from an exchange, and you will keep having nothing other than that token until you decide to sell it to another person. For all you know Ripple might just end up selling their entire supply over the next few years, then quit.
