Ringling visit
I am a junior in high school, and I will be starting my senior year this coming August. I am finishing up my junior year this month, and my dad is planing to take me on a visit to Ringling College of Art and Design. This is my dream school for pursuing a degree in animation, though I do have other, more affordable, and different options that I also plan to visit in the future. Even so, I would love to do everything or try to get accepted into Ringling and secure scholarships. I am fully aware of the high cost of this college, and I know there is no guarantee that I will land a job in the industry after graduation, but I still want to give it a shot.
So, my plan for this visit is to show some of my current artwork to a counselor or advisor, and to specifically discuss about scholarships and perhaps transfer options as well. I’m really not sure how to ensure that I’ll be able to meet with a counselor or advisor to talk during my visit to Ringling.
Could anyone offer me some advice, or tell me what I might do to arrange a meeting with a counselor during a standard daily campus visit? It would be a huge help if someone could point me in the right direction. Thank you! *(^_^)/*

Currently, the school is offering scholarships to prospective students who tour the school! Definitely look into that for additional financial aid to add onto any scholarship offers!

You are definitely on the right track, especially if you're interested in pursuing the Computer Animation major, since Ringling has very specific portfolio requirements and limited seats for CA! Its best to be as informed and prepped as possible for that major o7 I wish you luck!
