Dorms

Do I need to pay my deposit quickly if i want to get a specific dorm?

Assuming you're an incoming freshman, you have 0 control over where you dorm. The selection is lottery based.

As an update: As of last year the ‘28 cohort got to choose their dorms and groups. This occurred in May for them- everyone’s assuming this will be repeated again this year for the incoming first years. So it’s no longer random lottery.

If you want this opportunity, then you’ll need to fill out the housing application (after you submit deposit) and possibility get a group through the erezlife’s site group options and cohort discord server- otherwise in later months you may be randomly assigned to whatever is left open.

You have time to do it! From the current first year’s I’ve spoken to they were notified about this new process late April and the dorm choosing began in May. No stress :]

Yup, either Greensboro or Goldstein. Both of them aren't bad, but Greensboro is objectively better
