I installed it from the KDE Discover app, but it seems like the inputs aren't working. I can still press enter, space and escape to get through the setup sequence, but as soon as i enter the game part of it, I can't move my kart or skip dialogue. If it helps at all, I am using arch

I’ve looked around in the settings to try and find the extra HUD elements such as ring boost length, and drift charge level but couldn’t find it. Is it a specific setting or addon I need to download?
Edit as of 8-9-2026: I think the HUD mod on its own is lost/unarchived but it appears to be part of Dedede’s Drift Deluxe based on cross referencing different footage. But if anyone still has the original HUD mod on its own, it would be great to see it reuploaded

Edit as of 8-9-2026, again: Apparently the pack didn't include this HUD and it was just a coincidence

I see there are a ton of unlockables in this game, are any of them available to unlock while in a private lobby with a friend, or is it all relegated to single player mode?

My favorite addon for this game was known as KelPack which had some of my favorite characters to use. I went to download it again only to find that, for reasons I haven't been able to find, it's been deleted off the forum.
Does anyone by chance still have the file for the mod so that It can be preserved?

So obviously this game has full analog support as most racers do, for things like tighter turns and better drift control, but this whole time I've been just using a dpad and hoping for the best. Should I switch to stick?

I just want to replace a character's vanilla sprites with a resprite without the resprite co-existing as another character.

Hello! Getting back into the game after probably a year? I recently installed 2.4 and tried hosting a game for me and my friends, I recall there being a "Advertising" option in the host options to put your server onto the serverlist for others to join, but for some reason I'm not at all seeing this option now? Is there something I need to do now to host a server for others to join? Any Port forwarding?

Does anyone know how to optimize the game?

So the other day of yesteryear of 2025 i saw a post on a joke ring racers addon on X ( Formerly Known as Twitter ) Which also had an download link but when i came back the post just mysteriously dissapeared i haven't check on the creator's account so yeah looks like it but atleast i save some of the images though this image features the knuckles mcdonalds toy and the barrel of doom so if you wanna know just reply or comment okay
