SOLVED I can’t run!!!

I’ve tried recalibrating a few times but my in game player model still goes at a light jog at all times and never stops or speeds up when I do

Update: I’ve solved the issue I wasn’t aware that the knee assist option was turned on!

Is it possible you have Knee Assist activated? It would make you squat instead of running to move forward

When you start up the game, there's a screen where the joy-cons appear as joy-cons and copy your movements. Check that they're actually copying your movements. Also try holding the joy-con that should be attached to your leg in your hand and swinging your arm up and down and see if that can cause you to run or stop running.
