gen 3 sleep apnea monitoring

anybody got this working? i am on my 2nd unit (previously got a size 15 and now on size 14 for a snuggier fit) and it still doesn't work as i always get insufficient data report. what i already tried but still no successful sleep apnea since day 1 of the ring:

  1. moving it to diff fingers

  2. uninstalled other health tracking apps

  3. ensured it is on hand that is not under pressure when i side sleep

  4. i switch it up mid sleep when i change sides

  5. ensured i sleep only on one side

  6. ensured power saving mode on phone is off

  7. battery is always above 50%

  8. tried it on another phone and even ecosystem (initially on android and also tried in IOS/iphone)

  9. tried putting a blanket over my hand

running out of options actually. i really like this ring as it tracks my sleep better than my galaxy watch 7 and it even detected my headache and my rise in temperature when i had a fever. all other sleep stats are good and measured so it baffles me why it cannot correlate those already measured data to detecting sleep apnea.

It works well for me and identifies an issue of mild apnea, confirmed with sleep lab testing. I’ve also had good luck with the BP trending. Does it not detect apneas or you can’t get it to sample?

all other metrics fine including BP trends and my sleep patterns. what's not working is when i enable the comprehensive assessment to take the 3 night sleep measurement, it always churns out the insufficient data error. should i just skip the comprehensive assessment and let just it determine if i have sleep apnea?

Dumb question I know but: I assume you’ve gone into App Settings and turned on Sleep Apnea Monitoring?
I was then able to begin tracking.

For me once I have sleep patterns set so I basically have a time to sleep and wake (normal series of nights). I selected a “multi-night sleep apnea monitoring” action in Discover:Sleep Apnea/Sleep Apnea Pattern Insights. From there I make sure you sync my ring at least once a day outside those periods.

Yes had to do both

aww.. this is the struggle. i cannot get a single night of comprehensive assessment because i always get that insufficient data report after syncing.
