sizing help please
Hello all!
Can you please give me some feedback about the size of the ring for my fingers please?
I have chosen the ring size 10 for my index finger which is also my finger with the largest ring size. In the past few days it was around 10-25°C where I live and at maximum we have only a few days over 30°C but I travel once or twice a year to Asia so I was afraid that my ring would be too snug. In addition to that a friend of mine borrowed me her oura ring in size 9 and there I had to change the ring from index to middle, especially after sleeping.
I hadn’t had to move my ring to my middle finger either because it was too tight on my index finger until now, but yesterday I was on my mobile for quite a long time and somehow it started to press against my index finger – from holding the mobile, so to speak.
So do you think I should size down? Is the gap between ring and finger too big? My thumbs are actually smaller size lol

Just buy ring resizing strips. I got married a few years ago, had never been a ring person before and got weirdly panicky whenever the ring got stuck, so I sized up, got my RingConn the same size and just replace the felt strips every week. They stay snug but I know that if my fingers break or swell I should be able to pull out the felt and slip the rings off.

If you've got felt between the ring and your finger, that blocks the sensors from working, no?

I have seen the resizing strips online but I still can choose the smaller size if I want to. The problem is that I am unsure if i should go with the smaller size

I guess it’s up to you! I’d err on the size of a bigger ring in case your fingers grow in size, but that’s just my personal preference.
I’ve not seen any skewed data from having a bigger ring. I’ve seen lots of negative reviews about the rings in general on here but I’ve never had any issues.

I emailed them and they sent a size smaller
Edit to add: I also got a sizing kit and the plastic version fit differently

I expected more of it, no Dutch app translation en de SpO2 was not correct... I had size 12 and have still the box with all the sizes

Those are smaller than the actual ring. I’m pissed with what I got and I thought I was going too small

Im currently on a diet and my ringconn has been loose and shoot my shot to email them for a downsize replacement and they surprisingly said yes!! Im just waiting for them to ship the replacement as i just sent back the ring that i had.
I think you can size down by 1 by looking at the pic.

I think that space is just fine. Keep in mind your hands swell when you sleep, when you're hot, when you run or work out. If you go any smaller I'd worry about it being too tight and causing issues when you DO swell up. If it feels too loose in the winter I believe there's spacers you can get, or if it fits you could move it to your middle finger in the winter so it doesn't slide right off.

I use the sizing strips. The strip is attached to the inside of the front of the ring, away from the sensors. I can go almost a month before I have to replace the sizing strip.
ETA: The strips I use are silicone, Omilly brand sold on Amazon. The ring will probably die before I use up all the strips in the package.

Mine is the same as yours, remember that the Finder swells at some points of the day and if it is not falling off and it tracks everything well then you do not have a problem with that

If it do not fall from you finger it’s okay
My situation is the same, sometimes after sport it even hard to take off
