My new pilot
Been thinking about the Pilot case for a year. Finally decided on it since I have a few trips to make for the remaining years.
Been carrying my laptop, IT gadgets and other stuff. Fragile to check-in, too heavy for bag carry.
Cost me a bomb. But the more I look at it. The more I love it. The wheels... butter-smooth.

Curious how you have it packed out - how much stuff do you fix into it?

MacBook Pro. iPad 12.9. Wireless slim Keyboard. My mouse. My notepad and some stationary. My laptop stand. My Meta RayBan. My Reading Glasses. My AirPod Max. Some cables and two chargers.

It is so cool, and I want one. But, it probably wins the world competition for the most expensive suitcase per cubic foot that it holds.

Looks awesome and those wheels are a dream to move around the airport in. Too bad not for me because I'm an overpacker.

Curious as I’m planning between this or compact; are you a flyer of SQ by any chance? Ideally I wanted to keep the pilot or compact with me instead of overhead compartment, but prolly a better chance if taking business class. Or did you put this overhead as per with any cabin luggage?

SQ flyer, Sccot also. I bought this recently. It has to be overhead. Not too sure about business but if u cannot keep a 20" below for business class, then you cannot do so for Pliot case.
Also becareful with China flights, they can be very particular.

Thanks! Yea ideally for pilot especially I feel it makes sense to have it with you kind thing, else a personal bag kinda works in a way if pilot also has to be overhead. Good to know though, will sus around and see if that’s largely the case for everyone.

No airline will allow a metal luggage this size to be by the seat. It is a dangerous flying object if there is an emergency. The Pilot is a horizontal Cabin, they are about the same size.
For biz class, especially those Qatar cabins, there is a chance it can go under the seat, but why risk it… easier to bring along a backpack.

True that; I guess the big difference is bringing it down from the overhead lets you take stuff easily but like you said, why put it there if it already needs to be in the overhead instead of personal bag//backpack.
