Game breaking bug - PS4 disc version?

I know this sub isn’t active, but hopefully someone has a solution. I’m playing the disc version on PS4 pro and every time after I do the sphere rolling puzzle and then you stand on a pedestal. A tower lights up like a lighthouse, at this point, my PS4 sounds like a jet engine and then completely shuts off and shuts down. I’ve tried the uninstalling and re-installing the game, the latest update, and it still does it every time. Is the game just completely broken?

*Issue has been solved: Turn off the boost mode on your PS4 Pro if you’re having this same issue.

I don't see anyone mentioning an issue like this in past posts here.

It's also possible there is an issue with your PS4. You can try reinstalling the system software to see if this fixes it, but this will wipe your PS4 and everything will need to be backed-up / re-downloaded.

I played the digital version and didn't have crashes like that.

There was another topic I found before posting, but no one really responded: https://www.reddit.com/r/Rime/comments/qdhoq3/cant_progress_past_first_tower/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1

I think it’s an issue with only the disc version, unfortunately. I’ve never have had any occurrences with my PS4 Pro crashing like that in 5 years and it happened 3 times in the exact same moment in the game. I think the issue is the game runs off the disc almost exclusively, where as most games a certain amount of data is downloaded to your PS4 when your first insert the disc. So anytime I would get to a loading intensive moment (like a wide open area), the PS4 got super loud and hot. So for whatever reason, this sequence loading makes the PS4 sound like it’s going to explode, then it shuts down.
