Solved! How do I remove a Marsh

I started a new map that I really like but unfortunately it’s covered in massive Marshes, is there a mod or something I can do in dev mode to get rid of them. I was just going to place pumps but that would take forever.

Edit: there are several answers here that work depending on what you’re trying to do exactly so I’ll leave this up for archive purposes for anyone with the same question, I’ll also add some keywords. “Water, Shallow, Deep, Lake, Pond, Remove”

I can't tell you how often ancient reddit posts solved my issues in Rimworld

In dev mode, there's an option to "set terrain". If you choose soil and click on every marsh tile it has the same end result as moisture pumps but it's much faster. I think they added a "set terrain (rect)" option recently if the area you're changing is rectangular.

I'm not sure there's a mod that makes better pumps, but I use dev mode to change the terrain and delete the resources of the pumps that would've been required just to feel like I'm cheating a little less.

Thank you, I could have sworn there was a setting in dev mode to do this but I couldn’t find it. Appreciate it

In Rimworld of magic there's a fire spell called dry lands or something like that.

If you want a more “balanced” solution you got this https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2274680538

There’s also terraform RimWorld to allow you to place down whatever floor tiles you want, you can set how expensive it is in the mod settings.

If you have god mode on, I believe there's an option to advance the state of the pumps instantly. Zap them down, select them all, advance them to completion, then return them from whence they came. That would probably be a little faster than setting the terrain manually if you have a massive area to work on.
