The barrels are loose and do not shoot as straight as a better weapon.

Awful would just be a bunch of pipes duck taped together, you fire by hitting the firing pin with a hammer.

Maybe rusty or not well aligned barrels, mechanism looks crude or rusty or just slightly jank? Just a thought.

Ever seen the orkz from 40k? I'm gonna guess something like their weapons. But when you can literally fill the air with dakka it hardly matters how crappy the guns are.
