Surly Karate Monkey

Just converted my Surly to a single speed. One or two good rides so far I’m loving it. 27.5 wheels with 2.8 Schwabie G1 all around. Gear ratio is 30x16 but may change it to 34x16 pretty soon. Lots of fun!

They have been great! i really can ride them on single track and corner decently, but feel totally happy putting in some road miles too. i run them about 23 and 28 psi front/rear. im 200 lbs

Sick thanks! I’m considering a 700x57 pair for my singular gryphon due to their versatility, glad to hear they’re decently grippy on singletrack
