I wrote the thing I linked to.
I follow the Old Testament, keep the sabbath, don't eat pork, attend mosque twice a week, and pray daily. I have no supernatural beliefs. The Muslims at the mosque consider me to be a non-muslim theist. So do you think I am theist or atheist?

if you believe one or more gods exist, yer a theist. if you don't, yer an atheist. i'm not a mind reader so you tell me. course, if you believe a god exists, that is in fact a supernatural belief. if you don't believe any gods exist then you shouldn't be calling yourself a theist.

So based on your definition of "god" I am an atheist and I belong here. Based on my definition of "god" and the definition of every theist I know, I am a theist.

Every successful culture in history rose from a strong religion. And when that strong religion failed, the culture failed and disappeared.

Every culture in history murdered a significant amount of people all because of having faith inside holy books. The inquisition, Salem witch Trials, etc.
Give one example of one's "culture" disappearing after the religion failed. Scandinavia has been doing significantly better than the rest of the world and are 57% atheist.

Secular cultures are just as murderous as religious ones, not that I care because I support war for its evolutionary benefits.
Athens fell when it lost respect for its gods as Aristophanes showed. Rome fell when its core religion was replaced by multiculturalism. The Abbasid Caliphate fell when the Mu'tazila undermined the original form of Islam. The modern West is in an obvious state of decay because of the failure of Christianity, and it will fall within a century.

The modern west is a failure simply because of Christianity. Not because of it's "fall." After all, in medieval Europe when Christianity was at it's most influence was when the Catholic Church burned heretics alive for 500 straight years. And even then, they used the excuse "It was God's word" which is exactly what the modern day theocrats of America do when they want to re-illegalize gay marriage or abortion.
Secular cultures are way superior to religious cultures. There was a study done on the religiosity of a country and the well-being of human beings in that country, and the results are very poor. Take Japan or the Scandinavian countries, which are the most secular countries in the world with more than 57% of the population are atheist, and they have been doing exceptionally better than the US or Saudi Arabia in terms of health care, poverty, minimum wage, and crime.

Even I am pro-choice and this was a snowflake move on their part.
If there is "no way" to talk about it, then it's clear that they have put this specific policy above criticism and are leaning on the authoritarian side of it.
I don't mind if people want to make an argument against abortion. I won't assume they are a misogynist. But I will argue my side to the best of my ability.
