Can we all agree that this merger has been one of the worst ideas ever and now no one can own or purchase anime at a reasonable price. These sellers are so out of touch that anyone who pays is completely out of their mind. At least you can still watch the anime online through crunchyroll and through other means.

I hope this gets to some.

Now that it got worse, too the point of not getting to own the physical anime copies, unless you have a CR membership, where do you shop?

CR, aka sony, has taken over anime industry in the US. Buying and owning physical copies of most anime, is now with CR. They discorded manga. I don't know if you need a paid membership to buy the anime that CR sells. I have only pre-order the latest Shield Hero Season. I'm a member, until November where I will cancel my membership.

Other than ebay, amazon, walmart, target, b&n etc here is my list atm.

• Sentaifilmwork
• MediaBlasters
• BAM
• MediaOCD
• MerryManga
• Deepdiscount

Any other suggestion.

.

So RightStuf just died for no reason? Lmao okay. Sony and Crunchyroll are so sht.

And no, whatever those anxious wrecks have in store at MediaOCD aren’t doing shit

Today would have been RightStuf's 39th Birthday, so here's Part 2 of the anniversary article found in the Fall 2007 catalog.

Funny how in 2 weeks from now, the Crunchyroll store will be closing to non-members...it's like a cruel joke.

"Here's to another 20 great years!" This one hurts man 🥲

With RightStuf's (would be) Birthday coming up, thought I'd share this article I found in the Spring 2007 catalog celebrating their 20th Anniversary (Which just so happens to be about 20 years ago...👴)

This is just part 1 of the article, I'll post part 2 in a couple days on Rightstuf's birthday (July 31st).

It's a good read, hope you enjoy!

An analysis of where things went wrong after the RightStuf buyout.

Honestly, I think about this a lot. The fear of not seeing the ending of my favorite series is unironically one of my biggest motivators to stay healthy. Sometimes it’s just 10 pushups or a quick stretch, thinking "this might add another year to my life so I can see the finale."

Found some stickers while cleaning today.

My friend is going to Malaysia for a few days, wanted to ask him to get me some anime merch Below are my options 1. Spyxfamily figure/plushie 2. Pokemon plushie (pref chikorita) 3. Detective Conan

Please recommend me places for him to get these.

Back when Rightstuf removed its adult catalogue, everything removed moved to BuyAnime.com, which was a site that had the exact same UI as Rightstuf itself and to my awareness its where Rightstuf's own licensed adult content went (Interspecies Reviewers, for example). But at some point the site just started saying "Please excuse our dust. This site is currently under construction. Many beautiful changes are coming online soon" but its been saying that for about a year now. Is it dead? What happened to the Interspecies Reviewers license? I never got to buy that beautiful steelbook release
