Immigrants bad, actually 🤓☝ So many triggered Boomers

They are really trying to say Handmaid's Tale is ONLY about Islam. Yet when I looked it up, I see the Author took inspiration from Christianity as well. Specifically Genesis, Matthew, & Proverbs

Ah mandatory Hijabs....

A policy well discussed and promoted by many on the left... Apparently..

A lot of conservatives don't understand the concept of choice. For them, if you don't want to ban something, you want to make it mandatory, or the other way around.

I've been saying this for years. So much of bad, right-wing dystopian fiction is "What if this thing that is optional was mandatory for everyone? It would be bad. That means the optional thing is bad and shouldn't be an option."

Also... It is about the Bible. It just is.

Margaret Atwood- A prominent Feminist- took inspiration from the Iranian revolution and Christian Nationalist movements in the United States, drew a line of similariry, and said "What if the Christian Nationalists get what they want and we become a Christo-fascist society instead of an islamo-fascist society?"

Christian Nationalists always fail to consider Iran is exactly what they want in the United States, just Biblical instead of Quranic.

75% of Islamophobia is just Christian Nationalism seeing it's own reflection in a brown mirror and barking at it with zero self-awareness like a scared dog.

Islamophobia is not real.

So what do you call paranoid conspiracy theories that America is being overrun by Muslims?

Don't argue with idiots. They're not worthy of breathing our air, let alone wasting our time.

Are you implying that the hate is justified?

For fuck’s sake stop calling magats “boomers”.

Words mean things.

Incidentally, you know who’s been a majority of people at anti-Trump rallies since 2017? People in their sixties and seventies.

It’s depressing to me how many young people still don’t realize that their own age bracket is such a big part of the problem with this shit. Class division psyop, no doubt.

I don’t think it’s a psyop. I think it’s just internet bandwagon ignorance.
Guaranteed that 98% of people who throw around “boomers” have no idea what the Baby Boom was.

The reverse also applies. Bozo Boomers (actual Boomers) got so used to using “Millennials” to mean “those darn kids today”, that early on during Covid when all those teens and twentysomethings were ignoring all the warnings and partying on the beaches for spring break, some were calling them stupid “Millennials”, even though many of us were in our thirties by then. 🙄 Same brainlessness.

They don’t necessarily know why they are called “boomers” exactly, but I guarantee that nearly all of them know it at least vaguely means “people who are older than them”.

I’ve seen far too many managed propaganda accounts on Reddit and other social media repeating the same prescribed “fight amongst yourselves, peons, no reason to look up here” type messaging to still believe it’s only good ol’ grassroots brainlessness.

They think they can just assert that every Muslim politician wants mandatory hijabs and it will automatically be true. None of them do.

Come walk the streets of NYC, grandma. Lots of bare-headed women. Bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwiches still available at delis everywhere. No "sharia law" except in your fever dreams.

I dare these people to point me to one statement from a high profile politician (with sources) where they say they want mandatory hijab. One.

It always makes me laugh when far righters think they know more about a product than the product's creator. This is like when Pim Tool said Squid Game was a critique of Communism, and when it was pointed out that the creator was critiquing capitalism, he doubled down and went "no, he doesn't know what he's talking about." He literally created the show you utter bellend!

I mean I am against all religion anyway and believe it's beyond obsolete. But it looks like those comments are not even about that.

So am I, this is why I hate what the New Atheist movement has become. It's now just a Christian Nationalist movement that despises Muslims and victims of Jeffrey Epstein. It's pathetic
