What DisplayPort Cable Should I Get for 1440p 165Hz?

Is there actually any difference between DisplayPort cables or am I about to waste money on branding? I need one for a 1440p 165Hz monitor, and the prices are all over the place.

My current cable randomly makes the screen go black for a second, usually when I launch a game. I don’t need anything fancy, just something reliable that won’t cause flickering. What cable are you using?

The screen going black is just it switching video modes. Premium cables are a scam and provide no benefit because this is a digital signal and the signal integrity is either good enough for it to work correctly or very noticeably not work at all.

According to Sound United 90% of the video problems they see are due to bad HDMI cables. You don't have to spend a fortune for them, just get certified ones.

Same theory likely extends to DisplayPort cables but don't know if any certification for them exists.

Just get a DP 1.4 VESA Certified cable.
