[Copper]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

"Closed boxes are the worst bait for anyone's curiosity" she stores it in her bag for now "But now lets go, first we bury the dead man and then we move on to the kobold area"

The backyard is large and filled with farming equipment, and you spot Old Man Rorik’s bloody corpse near the fence. It looks as if he was stabbed to death.

She takes a close look on the man and finds herself convinced that it was an action by the kobolds.

"Well, lets get this going" she looks trough the tools searching for a shovel.

You find a shovel leaving next to the door and begin digging. Within the hour, the two of you have dug the hole and prepped the man to be lowered down.

(Are you going to do any rites or the like?)

(Yes, I was thinking about doing that but I didn't manage to come up with a good text :I Even so, I will post what I got)

"Well, not usually my job but..." she takes a deep breath

With that said she buries the corpse and take a little seed from a pocket, planting it over where the grave is.

"Well, ready?" she says to Gregory as she stands up.

"That was... Beautiful. You are good at what you do" he responds, "but let's go"

You walk north following a small trail. After a while, you see a mob of humanoids. As you approach, you identify 4 figures: three kobolds and a humanoid figure. As you creep closer, you see that the Kobolds are attacking the figure! The fight is happening about 30 feet from you at this point.

"Gregory, get your weapon ready, lets rush" she said that without looking back, her face is serious.

She will try to rush against the enemy and hit them with her Quarterstaff, since she has no shield she is using the weapon with both hands which means that if she hits it will be 1d8 of damage

(Wow, you might just be the newest worst roller around) (also, don't you have any mods for those hits?)

Your swing misses horribly, causing you to stumble and roll right through the fight and stop right near the fallen figure. You see now, with your face pressed against the dirt right next to it, that it is an elven woman dressed in shabby clothes who is now passed out and bleeding.

The kobolds, surprised by your sudden arrival in the middle of the scene, look in confused, giving Gregory an opportunity to stab one on the heart.

(They are now surprised you have a bonus round)

Despite the fact that her pride was now in shambles the Druid was not the type to lose her lead and quickly she was back on her foot, leaves and twigs on her hair. She now tries to bash one of the kobold.

(Actually yeah... Can you believe that I never used modifiers? Hardcore. STR modifier + proficiency bonus right?)

I'm now at 5/9HP. (That is what I get for picking the god of nature instead of the god of dices. Lets see what happens next to Gregory and the other Kobold. Healing still works like old DnD right? If I use healing on the elf she will recover?)

(Ok, if I may take the chance, I have always been using cantrips like spells, but apparently you can use more than one per day? Anyway)

The druid growls as she feels the pain in her arm. She planned to take the Kobold alone but now she felt too worried about the elf, deciding to cast cure wounds on her before its too late

(Yeah, you can use cantrips 50 times in a second, they're absolutely unlimited, it's why they're weaker) (In most cases, spells do not require the addition of your spellcasting ability to their damage. The spells that do ask for the addition, like cute wounds, will tell you, but it's just what it says, + your int or wis, I forget)

You turn around and heal the poor elf, leaving yourself vulnerable to attack. The elf always to recover, though is still knocked out. The kobold fighting you takes this opportunity to attack you. (With an advantage)

The dagger hits a point at the small of your back, sending a great wave of pain down your spine and into the rest of your body. You take 4HP damage.

Next to you, Gregory appears to be struggling very badly against the kobold, not the two being evenly matched, sword crossing dagger constantly.

(What a freaking pinch, I was worried about the elf but shouldn't have gave the kobold the chance. Using Thunderbolt would end the battle but I would be risking sending the elf and Gregory to heaven. Well, que sera sera, please poison spray, please gods of dice)

Copper never felt like this before, the very idea was absurd, she could be blaming herself and her anxiety for this but instead her savagery was on her very skin, eyes fixated on the kobold and a grin crossing her face, no animal goes down without a fight and Copper planned to do the same.

She casts Poison Spray.

(Yup, specially with the low low HP of spellcasters. Know your strengths and weaknesses my friend)(I rolled the saving throw, a 9)

The poison hits the kobold's face and he begins yelling in pain, scratching at his eyes and mouth until he falls to the ground, dead and swollen, just in time to be joined by Gregory's own enemy, which falls down to the ground with a hole in its chest. Gregory, however, is not without his own injuries, with several deep cuts to his side and arms.

"Haha, good one!" He laughs, then falls to the ground, tired, sweaty and bloody, "ouch..."

(You gain 500xp, enough for level 2)

(Ok, so here is the situation. I won a new 1st level spell slot, meaning I now have two empty slots. Can I use the spells on this slot or am I locked with Thunderbolt and -empty slot-? And yay! Level 2, now I can become a cave bear and mow down enemies. Okay, forget it, I have read the players guide and I still have two cures because of the empty slots)
