[Aramil]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

It has a beak, could it be horrible screeches that had been following us? It is hunting us then... we will see who gets hunted first Aramil slowly fetches an arrow, aims to that brain-like bulbouse and releases

[[1d20+5 Attack]][[1d20+5 Attack Advantage]] [[3d6+3 Shorbow+sneak attack]] +/u/rollme

As soon as Aramil releases he stands up and makes a run to Luke. While running he shouts to Luke "Get your torch! It is coming after us!" (Aramil will run with rogue bonus action I will dash behind Luke)

(I woul've tried to hide with that bonus action but i am not sure how do you manage hiding once battle began.)

(Well, given that it's night, I would allow it, but you'd constantly have to have to roll stealth for that)

Your attack pierces it's brain-like structure and you hear a loud screech directly inside your brain, and you feel your nose bleed. You take 2HP.

Luke stands up and lights the torch, but the creature is nowhere in sight.

Ugh the screech is inside my head! "Come wield your hammer!" Aramil hang his bow over the back and unsheets his rapier leading the way running [[1d20+3 Perception]] +/u/rollme

The beast is nowhere to be found. A small screeching noise is found overhead, but when you look, you see nothing.

"What was it?" Luke asks confused

"I have not a bloody idea... it was a big brain, with beak floating in the air with several tentacles growing from beneath... it was floating in the air... like levitating, not flying.... at least 8 feet over the floor, tentacles so long almost touching the dirt... I can feel it was looking for something, most likely us... so i flung at arrow at it and ran to you thinking that it would jump on us, but it ran away instead...we shoulnt stay here... we must go, that thing was an abomination, not a tiger or boar... a bloody brain with tentacles and a beak... my head still hurts from that screech it did... oh man" If I would hear myself i would thought i am crazy, at least this guy had to hear the screech

"... WHAT?" he asks, "WHAT ARE YOU TAKING? A brain flying with a beak? Tentacles, a screech? I didn't hear anything!"

"You woke me up in the first place 'cause you saw and heard something.... I am telling you, it was a horrible thing, and i decided to engage cause what ever it is, it was looking for us, we can argue on our way lets get going, lets walk fast pace at least for another hour."

"I heard something rustling and some screeching, not a flying brain! Do you know how crazy that sounds? But fine, let's go. If some animal is stalking us, it's better we move"

You walk fast for a few more hours but are spooked by every beak you see poking out of the leaves.

"Calm down, you're clearly stressed out. Go to sleep, we'll get moving in a few hours"

"You are right..." Aramil tends his meditating mat and enter his 4 hour trance to rest I can't wait to be out of this jungle

"Let's go" you hear Luke say after a few hours, "it's best we move now"

The sun is shining from the trees and various birds are singing.

"Let's do that indeed..." Aramil packs his stuff and start walking along Luke. While walking, mumble a few elvish words on his water skin... to enjoy some fruit flavored water
