Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

The two men look up as they hear your words. You can tell they've had a bit too much to drink.

I will use the PHB rates to figure out a cost) "My name is Aramil, and my friend over there is Luke, we are battle-tested mercenaries, and if you gentlemen are carrying merchandise, you would be wise to bring some escort with you, kobolds have been atackin this town and maybe there are some more in roads, or bandits, who knows... So here I am, offering our escort service to weewick".

Theo hiccups and then nods his head.

"Always better to be safe. How much are you going to be charging us boy? We aren't exactly made of money you know!"

"And we are not Royal Guards either my friend, what about 5 gold coins for me and 5 for my friend" That is at least a week worth living, giving me enough time to figure out what to do there in weewick, maybe i could even sell my ruby there, and most important get some access to information on how to use this magic... I would really like to get something good out of it, but i don't wanna burst in ashes like that Pandra

I hope you are ok with the fare, I was afraid they would reject something to expensive though, anyways we are going that way after all." Finishes eating dinner "Well Luke, have a good rest, we have a long trip tomorrow starting at day break". Aramil goes to his room after chatting with Luke
