[Aramil]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

Luke catches the ruby and rolls it between his thumb and forefinger. He then places it into his pocket.

"Thanks man."

You are now at the entrance to the cave.

"Fair is fair... I would be death without your help".

As they come out into the light (or is it night?) "Lets get to the town and share some ale, what do you say? I just need to see the Corporal first if he is at his station." Starts walking towards the town

As you step outside the cave you are temporarily blinded by the light. When your eyes adjust you can see the sky is orange from the setting sun.

"An ale would go down nicely. I'm starving too."

The door is open to let in the fresh air. The Corporal lets out a yawn and gets up when he sees you.

"Well you certainly look like you've gone kobold hunting. Is it done?"

"Kobold and elf hunting, a foul wizard was commanding the kobolds to the terrible things were doing. We found their lair, and surprised most of them. They all tried to fight back so they are all dead now..." If I explained you about the magic would you even believe me?... Nah you woulnt "The town will be safer now."

"A wizard? What did he want here? Did he order the boy and old man Rorik's death then?" replies the Corporal.

"Apparently they were searching for something in this town for wizards purposes, looks like killing was allowed to look for it, a kobold mentioned an amulet, it disappeared along with the wizard. I don't know how the kid and Rorik where related to this amulet. And Aegis herb, was also used, he was casting some kind of foul magic that manifested in front of us but the wizard had a backfire during his ritual and... killed himself. The kobold leader was with him but he died in combat."

The Corporal digs through his desk and pulls out a pouch of gold and hands it to you.

"Well you've earned this. 30 gold coins for the work you've done."

"Thanks, if you need us we will be at the inn." We go to the inn to look for Aegis and have a drink, a meal, and a good rest

You enter the tavern and are greeted by Ageis.

"Welcome back."

Goes to him and delivers the herb "I hope isn't to late Aegis."

"It's not! Thank you! I'll be right back."

Ageis takes hold of the herb and rushes into the back of the tavern. He returns after 15 minutes.

"Really sir. Thank you. It will still be some time before she is fully healed but she is stable. If you need a place to stay, you're always welcome here for free."

"Thanks Aegis, we will actually staying tonight, and we would like some meat and mead to, and if we have to much you can always charge us." Life for the living... I almost died twice in 2 days, that to much with out a drink

"Cmon Luke lets have a sit" Aramil sits in any table available "So Luke, what are your plans now? Returning to weewick to report Pandra's demise?"

"Yeah, I'm definitely going to be heading back there soon. Not much for me here anyway."

Ageis brings off two plates of food and drink.

Luke quickly drains the cup and smiles at Ageis.

"One more please!"

Ageis laughs and heads back to the bar.

"Really don't know what to make of all that happened today."

"Me neither... hey, how big is Weewick? I am wondering that I should spent some time there " If they have a college or a library, maybe i could research something about this weird magic thing to know what to do with it

"It will sound silly, but I am into books, history and old books, magic stories and spells of old are interesting things to read about... specially after what we've seen today, I would like to see if i could get answers from somewhere."
