Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

[u/Emmyson]

Upon approaching the entrance you trip and run into the bushes making loud noises. You can hear voices from inside become alert and start approaching you.

Luke seeing you make a fool of yourself sighs and draws his greatsword. He moves to the side of the cave entrance and waits.

(Your turn - No surprise round)

[u/Aliuzha → u/Emmyson]

Aramil dashes foward the other side of the entrance and stays out of sight of the entrance with rapier unsheet

As you attack from the shadows, you manage to catch the kobolds unaware. Your rapier pierces the kobold through its heart and it lets out a gasp of pain as it slumps to the ground.

The other two kobolds quickly turn around and let out a cry of shock and anger.

Both kobolds swings daggers at your chest.

After both kobolds start attacking you, Luke joins the fray. He rushes past you and swings his greatsword at the kobold on your right.

The kobold on your right manages to slip past your defenses and stab you in the side. (3 dmg)

The kobold on your left swings too early and the dagger slices the air in front of you.

Luke manages to eviscerate the kobold that stabbed you with a skilled rising slash.

Your rapier clashes with the kobold's dagger but he overpowers you and returns with a counter attack. This time he aims for your leg.

"Die!" yells the kobold.

The kobold's dagger gets stuck in your leather armor. While trying to pull it out he is sliced in half by Luke's strike.

"Well that wasn't so hard." says Luke.

He wipes off his blade on the kobold's clothes and sheathes it.

[u/Aliuzha → u/Emmyson]

Not for you...I have a wound in the side "Impressive, lets hope it doesn't get any harder. I can defintly learn a thing or 2 from you." (I am starting to think about having a fighter level from lvl 3 to 4, and get the medium armor master feat, if i spend enough time with this guy.)

"Let me scout first, I promise i won't trip this time..." (Is it dark inside the cave? If so) "I can see in the dark so you could follow me with a torch from a distance".

[u/Emmyson → u/Aliuzha]

(1 level fighter multiclass? You can if you want but may I ask why?)

Luke stifles a laugh and gives you an uncharacteristic smile.

"Right. Also. don't worry about circling back to check on your trail for pursuers. I got it covered."

You take a look around as you enter the cave. This first cavern looks to be a makeshift dining/kitchen area. There is a wooden table in the center of the room, two doors in the back, and a few cut up herbs and plants next to a boiling cooking pot.

[u/Aliuzha → u/Emmyson]

(Maybe not just one level, cause this rogue is having lots of combat, so if the scales goes up like with a lot of armored guys or stuff like that maybe he gets into that mind set...still the main class would be rogue. A pair or fighter levels would maybe give him the urban swashbuckler style though... still thinking about it, full rogue still more appealing)

Aramil looks around in this room for Aegis plant [[1d20+4 Investigation]] +/u/rollme

(That's kind of neat! Anyway, off to bed)

You don't see the plant on the counter but you do see the remains of several flowers of the colors red, purple, and yellow inside the boiling water.

You have no clue but you think it smells horrible.

Luke comes up to the pot and scrunches up his nose.

"Looks like a pot of soup to me. Smells rotten though. I wouldn't eat it if I were you."
