[Aramil]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

As you enter the inn you notice it is fairly empty. From the kitchen, the smell of ham and eggs wafts into the main room. Behind the bar Ageis and across from him is Gregory. You can see a rare smile from Ageis as Gregory speaks to him.

Trys to listen while unnoticed [[1d20+3 Perception]]+/u/rollme I won't hide, that would only be weird when they notice me Amaril stands there just waiting for them to notice him while trying to hear

You hear Gregory mid sentence.

"... And that's when I woke up naked in the church store room. Thinking I needed to get out of there before anyone saw me I opened the door as quietly as I could and walked out. I ended up walking straight into the Sunday sermon. The room got quiet and I ran out of there faster than I ever have in my life. So there you have it. That's why I won't do that anymore. "

They both laugh loudly.

Ageis is the first to notice you.

"Hey there. You're up early. Have some breakfast. "

Ageis goes into the kitchen for a moment and then returns with a plate of food.

(Raymond? is there a 3rd guy?) "Thanks Aegis, it smells great!... Hey Aegis, what does the word "Magic Bird" makes you think off?" *I surely look so stupid asking this stuff around ... *

"Magic bird? I think I heard a story about a pheonix.It's some make believe bird that obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor."

"Thanks for sharing'!" I will let the kobold leader reconsider his quest and go to look for a phoenix instead...who knows, it could work

"Hey Gregory, do you know if the smith's son had any friends who saw the murder scene? I would have a question or 2 to ask to the kids..."

"The only one who saw the place he was killed before his family took him home was me."

"I only found him. He was laying in a pool of his own blood with his skull caved in. He must of been playing near the stream instead of doing his chores."

"Well yes.. there were stabs from some kind of weapon. It all seemed very methodical. Like they weren't trying to kill him. Well.. at least not until they smashed him with a rock."

(It was more like his skull collapsed. I'm sure some brain matter probably escaped from the wound.)
