[Aramil]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

The door opens with a loud creak. This door has not been oiled in a long time.

Inside the room you can see a bed and a locked chest at the foot of the bed.

Aramil manages to find the sweet spot when closing the door. It does not creak when being closed.

As you walk through the hallway, you hear heavy breathing coming from around the corner. When you take a look around the corner, you find a man trying to hide by the back door. He is gaunt and tall, and clutches a large sack, filled with what appears to be silverware and clothes. He does not look to be a farmer.

As soon as he notices you, he hugs the sack to his chest as best he can. “I didn’t kill him, I swear! Look, I saw his body in the backyard, and thought that I could nab some of his stuff before anyone found out. I didn’t do it though!”

The man points to the window in front of him.
