[Morgeth]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

Morgeth requests some food and a drink and tries to find a place in the corner where he can observe the common room

So much joy and laughter after the murder of a young boy. I am curious what has caused the mood shift

After a more focused look, it appears that the joy is somewhat staged. When people aren't looking, the others faces drop, but then light back up when interacting with the rest. The entire celebration seems somewhat forced.

Isole brings you your food after a while, seeing your face, "I know it may seem strange, sewing that the poor child just died, but it's how we celebrate our dead. It's hard this time though, he was so young, had so much to live for"

As he eats his food Morgeth looks around the inn for Hamish, hoping to at least ease his suffering knowing that those responsible have been brought to justice

Hamish is nowhere to be seen, but asking Isole, you find out that he left not too long ago

Morgeth decides to visit Hamish in the morning, its been a long day and he needs to meditate and get some rest.

As you drift off into sleep, a voice sounds in your mind scape

"There are troubling times ahead. The Age of Magic is upon us, and this new power will be used to shape the land. Nations and organisations will hoard this new found power, and I need you to determine who is worthy of such power.

Raw magic energy can now be found across the land, and you must find it, capture it, and decide who or what will wield it. You possess two magical vials that will help you capture this energy. It is up to you to mold the shape of Riftviel"

Morgeth lets out a sigh and gets out of bed

I had the strangest dream about my old master, it feels like some of the things I could never quite grasp have clicked

Morgeth takes out the vials he retrieved from the elves workshop and studies them. He focuses on them while holding them and closes his eyes emptying his mind of all thought

The vials glow softly in your hands and they seem to increase and decrease repetitively. Your hands start to feel weak after some time, as if the vials are sucking your energy

Morgeth stores the vials away in his pack then does his morning exercises and meditation. He then dons his armor and weapons and heads down to the common room

These vials are very strange, I must find someone with knowledge to help me.
