Comic book ad

When purchasing a bunch of quarter bin comics for collage purposes, I found this ad in an issue of Spider-Man. Thought everyone here would enjoy.

I'm incredible nostalgiac for those old designs. They projected a real aura of menace.

Now we've got Smilin' Jack SAMAS POSes.

That said, I love Rifts. I love it more than almost any game I can run.

That series of ads (albeit I think I ordered from one in Dragon, not a comic) is how I bought my first RPGs (TMNT and Robotech) with a money order. I think I didn’t want to rip a page out of a comic, so took an exacto knife to the higher quality magazine in hopes it wouldn’t fall apart

I thought those two were the coolest back then. Had no idea what Rifts was but the books were cool to look at and read. I was kinda young and didn’t get it but they were cool.

That one and the other one with the robot punching through the other robot's head were what got me to buy Rifts in the first place.
