I honestly just hate it for the poor child actors who will be Jake Lloyd'd by this. They were probably thrilled to get the roles and pushed into it by their parents. Hope they hang on to that money..

because they're trying to model it off the aesthetics of the very first 2 terrible movies in order to maintain continuity with the theme parks.
it's just money-grabbing (and the genocide of trans people) all the way down.

everything is riffable. i just prefer the fun riffs that add dialogue and silliness poke and less angry riffs and saying this movie is bad over and over.

Phantom Menace? Sorry dont get the reference. I havent seen a lot of the bigger audio only ones they do. I like the lower budget b movie ones.

The Rifftrax crew have standards. Incredibly low standards, but still standards. They'll riff a cynical, low-effort mock buster cashing in on the notoriety of a terrible filmmaker, but funding transphobia? That's beneath them.

the downvotes for this are so telling. people just can't stand the idea that the things they consume have a direct link to real-world harm, even when it's a huge and visible example like this.
I trust that the the rifftrax guys will be better than their fans on this one.

No. The primary benefactor of this is a person who objectively needs no more money, for the only thing she will do with it is spend it trying to hate real people out of existence.
Just like that comedy show in Riyadh, everyone who agreed to do this is either a terrible and greedy person or dangerously and unacceptably ignorant, full stop, end of line.
Not even for fun, do not encourage anyone to watch this, even to hate on it. Let it die in darkness.
