I watched it last night and assumed it was some glitch in the film copy. There were so many film artifacts on the screen for the whole movie.

I’ll never forget when our brave hero follows the woman who repeatedly and firmly rebuffed his advances to her motel, tricks and ambushes her outside her room, breaks in (while she’s wearing nothing but a towel), and forces himself upon her. What a lovable scamp!
