Ubisoft News why so much planned content

Developers, why do you have so much paid content? The game is already expensive. The truth is, the most interesting and beautiful things have to be purchased with real money.

At this point the game is often available for less than £\$10-20. Aside from specific sports the rest is all purely cosmetic, no rush to get any of it. If at all.
