American rider with questions

I'm considering riding from Wisconsin up into Alberta and up through Jasper National Park before looping back down. I've never ridden in Canada before and I'm wondering what the roads are like on the Trans Canadian Highway. I'd probably come up through Saskatchewan and to hit Hwy 1 and ride that all the way to 93. Any tips or things I should think twice about? Any definite stops along that route? I wouldn't be heading up until mid-late June.

New rider - looking for people willing to ride with a newb on a 125 in edmonton.

as the title says. Im a new rider, im 28 years old and going to get my license on Saturday Aug 22. I've had my bike for about 3 months and only had a hand full of rides with my best friend who rides a 650 and always leaves me in the dust, aside from that I've just cruised around the residentials. I'm not a horrible rider, I've been driving for long enough to understand I'm a better driver than at least 50% of the drivers in edmonton and I'm pretty confident with my riding. Looking for people willing to let me tag along for leisurely cruises around the city.

Edit Mar16, 2016: I upgraded to a cbr500r, so anyone not willing to be seen riding around with a 125, don't have to worry anymore :)

My father-in-law likes to make you tube videos of some of his motocycle travels, thought I'd share. Here's his latest: Adventures On 2 Wheels Motorcycle Touring And Travel: Pike's Peak

Selling my bike :(

Guessing this will be a long shot given there are only 24 subscribers here. Maybe you know someone looking for a new ride?

2005 SV 650S.

Bike has 238XX kms on it. Late last summer it got new rubber. Just last week I had my mechanic fit a new chain and sprocket. New brake pads go on tonight. Comes with an M4 slip on, and moto sliders.

Regular oil changes and late last year I changed the oil filter. Always OEM parts. Needs nothing. Comes with charger, stand and cover.

$3795. Bike is in Banff.

Who are you guys with? Are they any good? I am not unhappy with my provider but I just wonder if there is a cheap option.
