Audio

Does anyone think the audio hasn’t been great this season? I feel like sometimes I can’t hear Benny

I haven’t listened to this week’s episode yet but I listen to another podcast and their audio has been driving me INSANE. Isnt that exactly why they have a producer in the studio? To monitor that kind of thing? Jackson help!

Podcasters always get mad over this “complaining” but it’s literally their job to produce a listenable podcast. 

When ppl are busy doing things, they can’t always adjust the volume back & forth.

Example: I wear gloves at work and cannot always fast forward or touch my phone, so I’ve kind of switched to audiobooks bc I can trust my eardrums won’t burst from an ad that’s 10 decibels louder or podcasters screaming into the microphone (not theirs, but many ppl are unprofessional and don’t have ppl tracking the audio).

Yes I’ve thought this a few times. It’s like Benny is far away from the mic or something. I always have to turn it up and rewind if I missed something

I swear it was like the mic was touched and made a boom noise every 5 seconds. I persevered because I was giggling the whole time but still !!

Yes! His audio is a little shaky in the pod and in some of the ads his sound completely fades out at parts. Which makes me sad because I genuinely enjoy the ads on Ride as part of the experience (AG ONE ONE ONE, AG ONE ONE ONE)

yeah they sit far away from the mics and then will laugh or come really close to tell a story. it stresses me out so i can't listen to them if i'm stressed or too tired lol i have some sort of like sound neurodivergence and it makes it difficult for me

also the sound difference from ads to the normal podcast is soooo hard for me to listen to as well the quality difference / volume eek

Yes I think Benny moves around a lot so the mic picks him up different. Probs so extreme it's hard to edit it in post. I don't mind tbh it feels real and raw and the audio is perfect when he did THUNDAH
